In 2024, Elsevier Signal Processing celebrates its 45th birthday. To commemorate this milestone, we are organizing this Special Issue on the latest advances in the area of Signal Processing. The call is open to anybody working in the field, but we especially welcome the Special Session organizers of the EURASIP European Signal Processing Conference 2024, held in Lyon, France.
