The series of Bulk Power Systems Dynamics and Control Symposia was established by Les Fink in 1988 and has been managed since 1994 by the International Institute of Research and Education in Power System Dynamics (IREP). Since its foundation, IREP has been held once every three years and established a reputation for technical excellence.
