The Managing Board of the Springer-Nature journal AAECC (Applicable Algebra in Engineer-ing, Communications and Computing) launches a Call for Papers for a Special Issue dedicated to the memory of the figure of Joos Heintz, who recently left us. This call is addressed to all mathematicians and theoretical computer scientists who wish to remember the figure of Joos Heintz. Main topics are, but are not restricted to, the following ones: Editors of this Special Issue will be (in alphabetical order):
