In the current artificial intelligence (AI) landscape, Knowledge Graphs (KGs) and ontologies are increasingly seen as transformative tools. They provide a framework for managing structured knowledge, which is essential for explainable AI, neuro-symbolic models, data interoperability, and enhanced reasoning. By combining symbolic reasoning with data-driven approaches, KGs hold the promise of improving AI's transparency, robustness, and ability to integrate diverse data sources.
