This special issue collects a selection of the best research works presented at the 31st International conference on intelligent computing in engineering (EG-ICE): Data and intelligent methods for engineering the built environment. EG-ICE stands for the European Group for Intelligent Computing in Engineering, who aims to promote research and applications of advanced informatics in all aspects of engineering.
